For the second straight week Destinee Hooker and Michelle Kocher from Texas have been named the Big 12 Volleyball Offensive Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively, for the matches of Sept. 29-Oct. 5. Anna Breyfogle (Baylor) is receiving the fourth Defensive Player of the Week award of her career, while Hooker claims her seventh honor overall.
Graham Harrell (Texas Tech), Keenan Clayton (Oklahoma), Roy Miller (Texas) and Dez Bryant (Oklahoma State) have been named Big 12 Conference Football Players of the Week.
The Big 12 Conference auctions begin for 2008-09 with a fabulous football signed by all 12 Conference Head Coaches. The football is a regulation-size Wilson ball and includes the official NCAA Football logo. The autographs are there for head coaches from every Big 12 school.
