Oklahoma’s Bryce Madron (player), Cincinnati’s Tommy Boba (pitcher) and Baylor’s Mason Green (newcomer) were voted for Big 12 Baseball weekly honors for games ending March 17. It is the first Big 12 weekly honor for all three players.
  
Madron hit .429 as he led the Sooners to four wins, including a series sweep over No. 12 TCU. The senior outfielder got on base over half the time, drawing five walks to go along with nine hits for a .520 on-base percentage. The Blanchard, Oklahoma native provided a spark to the top of the OU batting order, scoring seven runs and stealing three bases. He added a home run to finish the week with five RBIs and a 1.091 OPS.
 
Boba threw 8+ innings of shutout ball, taking a no-hit bid into the ninth inning of a 1-0 win against Kansas Saturday. Despite surrendering his only hit to the leadoff hitter in the ninth, the sophomore right-hander earned the win, struck out eight and posted a Game Score of 86—the highest by a Division I pitcher on Saturday. The Wheaton, Illinois native made a relief appearance as well, retiring all four batters he faced against Western Illinois. All told, the marketing major started his week with 9.1 innings of no-hit ball, did not allow a run, and allowed just three opponents to reach base.
 
Green scattered a pair of hits over six innings against Texas Tech Sunday, nabbing the first win of his college career. The lefty from Cypress, Texas threw just 66 pitches to get through six shutout innings, before an 86-minute rain delay necessitated his exit from the game. The freshman business major never faced more than four batters in an inning in the series-clincher, as the Bears won their first ranked series since 2022.
