The Texas Tech softball team has won the 2026 Big 12 softball regular season title outright following a series sweep against Arizona State. The Red Raiders clinch their second consecutive Conference title, currently with an overall record of 47-4 and 19-2 with one week left remaining in the 2026 regular season.

Texas Tech swept the Big 12 titles a season ago before making the program’s first Women’s College World Series appearance and ending the 2025 campaign as the national runner-up.

The Red Raiders earn the No. 1 seed in the 2026 Big 12 Softball Tournament presented by Allstate, held May 7-9 at Devon Park in Oklahoma City. They’ll face the No. 8 seed on May 7 at 1:30 p.m. CT. The Tournament bracket will be announced following the league’s final game on Sunday, May 3.
