Logan Phillip

Title: Associate Vice President - Legal Affairs 

Logan Phillip was named Associate Vice President - Legal Affairs in 2025 after serving as Senior Director - Legal Affairs in 2024. Phillip also previously served as the Assistant Director - Compliance & Governance.
 
In this role, Phillip assists with the legal affairs of the Conference and manages the Conference’s compliance program and services, as well as interpretations of NCAA and Big 12 Conference rules. She serves as the staff liaison to the Directors of Compliance, manages conference-administered waivers and oversees the NLI program.

Before joining the Big 12, Phillip served as the Assistant Director of Compliance at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Prior to her role with UCSB, Phillip was a Legal Extern for Spurs Sports & Entertainment, LLC. While at SSE, she executed legal agreements for all franchises of the organization: San Antonio Spurs (NBA), Austin Spurs (NBA G League), San Antonio FC (USL), San Antonio Rampage (AHL), as well as its non-profit organization Silver & Black Give Back.  She also served as a Graduate Assistant for the Initial Eligibility department of Texas Tech Athletics Compliance.

Phillip earned her Juris Doctor with a concentration in Business Law from Texas Tech University School of Law in May 2018 and is a member of the Texas Bar Association. She received her undergraduate degree in Sports Media from Oklahoma State University in May 2015.
