This is the first year of the Big 12 Championship where the higher seed won the first six games.
Texas A&M and Texas will play at the championship for the first time.
The match-up between Texas and Texas A&M will mark the second time in league history that two teams from the state of Texas will face off in the semis (UT 76, BU 62 - 2001).

Colorado
With the loss, Colorado is now 9-4 overall against Texas A&M.
The Buffaloes dropped to 6-10 in the Big 12 Championship.
Colorado has a 6-2 first-round record after yesterday's victory over Baylor. However, Colorado drops to 0-8 in the quarterfinals.
Colorado is 1-29 under Ricardo Patton when scoring 59 points or less.
Colorado's 53-point total was its lowest output of the season.
Texas A&M
With the win, Texas A&M is now 4-9 overall against Colorado.
The Aggies won their first Big 12 Championship game in league history. This is Texas A&M's first conference championship victory since 1994 when they beat Texas Tech in the former Southwest Conference semifinals.
The 33-point margin of victory was the largest in Texas A&M postseason history. The previous high was a 25-point margin when the Aggies beat Baylor 71-46 in the 1987 Southwest Conference Tournament final. That win gave Texas A&M an automatic berth to the NCAA Championship, which was also the last time the Aggies reached the national tournament.
Texas A&M held Colorado to 18-of-60 shooting (30%), which is the fewest made field goals and lowest shooting percentage by an A&M opponent in Big 12 Championship history.
The Aggies' 86 points against Colorado is the highest A&M has scored in a single game during the Big 12 Championship.
