  • With Colorado's win, fifth-seeded teams remain unbeaten (9-0) versus 12th-seeded teams in the Big 12 Championship. There wasn't a No. 5 vs. No. 12 match-up in 2004.

  • Colorado won its first game of the season when trailing with under two minutes to play. The Buffaloes trailed 57-56 before Richard Roby hit a three-pointer with 1:49 left to give CU the lead.
  • The 65-61 victory marked only the second time CU has won when giving up at least 60 points this season.
