BAYLOR
The Bears fall to 2-9 this season and 6-71 when allowing their opponent to shoot a higher percentage than themselves; they are 2-44 under Drew when allowing their opponent to shoot at least 50 percent from the field (Colorado shot 54.0 percent, 34-63)

The Bears hit eight 3-point field goals increasing their season total to 267 - the second-most they have hit in a season in school history. The school record is 273, set in 2001-02

COLORADO
Hall established a Colorado single-season record for minutes played in a season with 1,162, breaking the record of Stevie Wise (1,127 in 1990-91)

Marcus King-Stockton turned away five shots to set a career high. He had blocked four shots three times in his career, most recently on 3/1/08 vs Iowa State. The five blocked shots represent the third-most by a Colorado player in a Big 12 Championship. David Harrison blocked seven shots vs Kansas State on 3/13/03 and six vs Texas Tech on 3/12/04.

Marcus Hall dished out ten assists to tie a career high and to set school record for a Big 12 Championship game. Jaquay Walls handed out six assists vs Texas in a quarterfinal game on 3/5/99. Colorado as a team dished out xx assists, a team record for a Championship game.

Richard Roby scored a season-high 32 points, one off his career high. He set the school's single-game record for points in a Big 12 Championship game, breaking Kenny Price's mark of 31 vs Texas on 3/5/99. He now has scored 1,983 points, seven away from tying Bernard King (Texas A&M, 1999-2003) for fourth in Big 12 history and 17 away from becoming the fourth player in league history to reach 2,000 points in his career.

Big 12 Championship Notes...
Colorado shot 72.0 percent from the field in the first half (18-25) to set a record for the highest field goal percentage in a half in Big 12 Championship history. The previous record, 69.2 percent (18-26) was set by Texas Tech on 3/7/02 against Texas A&M in the first round of the Championship; Texas Tech won the game 80-71. The Buffaloes made 12 consecutive field goals starting with Marcus Hall's basket with 9:01 remaining - they would not miss from the field until Dwight Thorne II missed a 3-point attempt with 41 seconds remaining in the half

Two days after Missouri's women became the first 12 seed in that Championship to defeat the fifth seed, Colorado became first 12 seed in the men's bracket to defeat the fifth seed. No. 5 seeds had been 10-0.

The Buffaloes know something about pulling off upsets as a low seed, in addition to today's win as the 12th seed, they were the first 11 seed to win a game in the men's Championship, defeating Texas in 2005. The only other 11 seed to win a game was Baylor vs Missouri in 2007.

With Oklahoma State's win as the No. 9 seed combined with Colorado's win, this year marks the third year in four that multiple lower seeds have won a first-round game. Such an occurrence had never happened in the first eight Big 12 Championships.

Today's game marks the sixth overtime game in Championship history and the first double overtime game in Championship history. It marks the first overtime game in the first round since the 2002 Championship when No. 7 Kansas State defeated No. 10 Baylor 74-73. Baylor and Colorado went to overtime in the first round of the 2001 Championship; Baylor prevailed 86-84. Baylor is the first team to play three overtime games in the Championship.
