Big 12 Big Plays

Each week, followers of the Big 12 Conference will have a chance to vote for the biggest plays from the past weekend of football action.

A variety of plays will be considered, with the number changing each week.  Visitors to the Big 12 web site will be able to view the television video from each contest and then vote for their favorite.  Voting begins each Monday and continues until the following Monday.  Periodic updates of the voting will be posted during the course of the week, with the winner announced on the final day.

Play 1 - Texas A&M started off the game with a 70-yard touchdown pass from Jerrod Johnson to Jeff Fuller to give the Aggies a 7-0 lead over Texas. Play 2 - Colorado recorded its longest play from scrimmage of the season at the end of the game against Nebraska when Tyler Hansen hit Scotty McKnight for a 56-yard touchdown catch.
Play 3 - Texas took the lead for the first time on a 65-yard Colt McCoy scamper in the second quarter. Play 4 - Missouri's Danario Alexander snagged a 68-yard Blaine Gabbert pass for a touchdown to give MU a 33-28 lead late in the third quarter.
Play 5 - Niles Paul of Nebraska took a Colorado punt back 59 yards for the score, putting NU up 7-0 with about three and a half minutes left in the first period. Play 6 - James Kirkendoll hauled in a pass from McCoy and took it 47 yards to the end zone, giving UT a 42-32 lead early in the fourth quarter.
Play 7 - Todd Reesing capped off a record-setting performance with a 74-yard touchdown pass to Dezmon Briscoe to tie the game at 36 early in the fourth.
