OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - The Texas A&M Aggies defeated the Nebraska Cornhuskers, 5-0, behind a big performance from freshman pitcher Melissa Dumezich.

Dumezich picked up the complete game win (17-1) and tallied two RBI after singling to center field to score Kelsey Spittler in the fourth inning and blasting a solo home run in the sixth to give A&M the 5-0 edge.

Spittler started off a fourth inning rally with a triple to the fence in left center and then scored on the Dumezich single. Kelsea Orsak also singled and both baserunners advanced on a wild pitch. Lauren Schwirtlich scored both Dumezich and Orsak on a two-RBI single to center, but was thrown out at third to end the inning.

The Aggies move on to face No. 1-seed Texas in the semifinals at 7:30 p.m.
