The Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation announced six Big 12 football players to the 17th-annual Fred Biletnikoff Award watch list.

Ryan Broyles (Oklahoma), Detron Lewis (Texas Tech), Scotty McKnight (Colorado), Uzoma Nwachukwu (Texas A&M), Niles Paul (Nebraska) and Kendall Wright (Baylor) are among the 51 candidates for the award.

The Biletnikoff Award, which is given annually to college football's best receiver, is named for former Florida State All-American Fred Biletnikoff.

Last year, Texas' Jordan Shipley was a finalist for the award. Former Texas Tech receiver Michael Crabtree received the award two-consecutive seasons in 2007 and 2008.
 
Semifinalists for the award will be announced on Nov. 15, with finalists selected on Nov. 22. The winner of the Biletnikoff Award will be announced on Dec. 9 during the Home Depot ESPNU College Football Awards Show.
