About the Championship
The 2015 Big 12 Indoor Track & Field Championships will take place Feb. 27-28 at the Lied Recreation Center in Ames, Iowa. This marks the seventh time Iowa State has hosted the event.
The indoor facility includes a 300-meter track with eight 42-inch lanes, making it the largest and one of the fastest indoor surfaces in the world.
There is portable seating for 2,000 spectators and excellent field event facilities. The facility includes four pole vault runways and two long jump/triple jump pits.
Last season, the Oklahoma State men captured their first indoor crown while the Texas women claimed their sixth title (1998, '99, 2002, '03, '06, '14).
