The All-Big 12 Conference football teams and individual award winners have been announced. Selections are made by the league's 10 head coaches, who are not permitted to vote for their own players.
All-Big 12 Honors Notebook:

?Baker Mayfield is the fourth Oklahoma quarterback to garner Offensive Player of the Year, joining Sam Bradford (2008), two-time winner Jason White (2003 and 2004) and Josh Heupel (2000). This marks the fifth-consecutive year a quarterback has won the award. In 20 seasons, a signal-caller has been honored 16 times, including co-winners in 1999.

?Andrew Billings (Baylor) and Emmanuel Ogbah (Oklahoma State) are the first Defensive Player of the Year honorees from their respective institutions. The award is shared for the third time (2013 and 2011). This is the eighth year that players on the defensive line have been recognized.

?Dede Westbrook is the third representative from Oklahoma to earn Offensive Newcomer of the Year joining Adrian Peterson (2004) and Josh Heupel (1999). He is the seventh receiver to earn the award.

?Demond Tucker is Iowa State's fourth Defensive Newcomer of the Year. Past winners are David Sims (2009), Tim Dobbins (2004) and Jess Beckom (1998). He is the ninth defensive lineman to win the award.

?Bob Stoops (Oklahoma) was recognized as Chuck Neinas Coach of the Year for the fifth time (2008, 2006, 2003 and 2000).

?Mike Warren is the first Iowa State player to be picked Offensive Freshman of the Year and the eighth running back honored.

?Malik Jefferson picked up Texas' sixth award as Defensive Freshman of the Year and is the ninth linebacker to receive it. Other Texas honorees are Quandre Diggs (2011), Brian Orakpo (2005), Rodrique Wright (2002), Derrick Johnson (2001) and Cory Redding (1999)

?Morgan Burns gives K-State three straight years and four overall with the Special Teams Player of the Year. Tyler Lockett (2014 and 2013) captured the award the last two seasons while Brandon Banks was honored in 2009. The award was first presented in 2005.

?Spencer Drango was named Offensive Lineman of the Year for the second straight season while a Baylor player has been honored for the fourth consecutive year (Cyril Richardson, 2012 and 2013). Drango shared the award last year with B.J. Finney (K-State).

?Andrew Billings is the first Baylor representative to earn Defensive Lineman of the Year since the awards recognizing the top offensive and defensive linemen were instituted in 2006.

?Oklahoma has won the most individual awards in the 20-year history of the Big 12 with 32. K-State is second (28), followed by Texas (25), Oklahoma State (18), Baylor (13), Iowa State (11), Texas Tech (8), Kansas (7), TCU (5) and West Virginia (3).
