K-State?s Lewis and Young to Play for Athletes in Action

A pair of K-State women’s basketball student-athletes will compete on the international stage this summer as Breanna Lewis and Erica Young have been selected to play for Athletes in Action (AIA) from June 17-27 in Poland.

The team will depart for Poland on June 17 and will take part in a five-day training camp at the Olympic Training Center in Gizycko, Poland, located in the northern part of the country. Following the training camp from June 24-26, AIA will face national teams from Poland, Latvia and France.

Joining Lewis and Young on the AIA roster this summer are: Marisa Sell (Roberts Wesleyan), Christen Johnson (Northwestern), Madison Buck (North Dakota), Lennique Brown and Julianna Prim (North Carolina State), Ivory Crawford (Illinois), Faith Randolph (Virginia), Lauren Brown (Elon) and Monique Billings (UCLA).

The team will be coached by Trent May (Grand Canyon) and assisted by Brett Vana (Weber State) and K-State graduate assistant Micaella Riche.
