- Upset No. 5 Michael Kroells for the first ranked win of his career with a thrilling 3-2 decision that was decided in the final 30 seconds.
- Had the biggest highlight of the Cowboys’ 34-3 win over No. 16 Minnesota.
- The match win bumps his record on the season to 5-0 overall and 2-0 in duals.
