The U.S. Basketball Writers Association has released its 2015-16 Men's All-District Teams and several Big 12 student-athletes have been selected. Leading the way in District VI is the Player of the Year, Buddy Hield of Oklahoma. Bill Self of Kansas was named Coach of the Year for District VI.
The results are based on voting from its national membership of 900-plus. The USBWA has selected All-District Teams since the 1956-57 season, its founding year. For each of the nine geographic districts, 10 players are selected as well as a player and coach of the year.
