Alexa Adams (Texas), Marissa Zucchetto (Texas Tech) and Cassandra Hiatt (Texas Tech) garnered Big 12 soccer weekly awards.

Adams was named Offensive Player of the Week for the third time in her career, after registering her third career brace (two goals) in the team’s 3-2 win over Oklahoma Friday night. The senior forward scored the game-winning goal with just one minute left in regulation. The match-winner was her second of the season and the sixth of her career.

Zucchetto earned Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season and in her career, after making six saves and logging 90-plus minutes in the net in both matches against K-State and Kansas. The sophomore goalkeeper is the only player this season to receive three Big 12 accolades.

Hiatt was awarded Freshman of the Week for the first time after scoring the equalizer with 90 seconds left in regulation, sending the match against Kansas into overtime. The freshman’s clutch goal allowed Tech to take hold of the momentum to win the game in overtime 2-1.
