Jackie Crowther (Baylor), Jennifer Wandt (Baylor) and Alina Stahl (West Virginia) were awarded Big 12 weekly honors for the second weekend of Conference play.
Crowther received Offensive Player of the Week after scoring a pair of goals in the Bears’ 2-0 win over Texas Tech. The senior forward is the only Big 12 scorer to notch two goals in a conference match this season. Wandt was tabbed Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season, after having two shutouts against TCU and Texas Tech. The sophomore goalkeeper made six saves in both matches, tying for the most saves (12) over the weekend. Stahl earned Freshman Player of the Week for adding the fourth goal in WVU’s 4-0 victory over K-State to push the team’s win streak to six.
This is the first career honor for Stahl, the second career honor for Crowther and the third career honor for Wandt.
