Katie Glenn (Texas), Bianca St. Georges (West Virginia) and Maddy Warren (TCU) received Big 12 weekly accolades for week four.
Glenn earned Offensive Player of the Week, after leading the Longhorns with two goals (one in both matches) and an assist for five total points against Texas State and Houston Baptist. This weekend’s performance marked just the second time over her four-year career at Texas that Glenn scored goals in consecutive matches. St. Georges was tabbed Defensive Player of the Week for denying Clemson a corner kick and a shot through the first 33 minutes of the match. The Tigers finished with just seven shots, two on-goal. Warren was awarded Freshman of the Week, following her two goals in TCU’s 2-0 win over Little Rock.
This is the first career honor for Warren, the second career Offensive Player of the Week honor for Glenn and the third career Defensive Player of the Week honor for St. Georges.
