Marlo Zoller (Oklahoma State), Easther Mayi Kith (West Virginia) and Mackenzie McFarland (Texas) earned Big 12 weekly honors for the opening weekend of Big 12 Conference play.
Zoller was awarded Offensive Player of the Week after leading OSU to a 2-0 start to Conference play with a pair of game-winning goals in wins over K-State and then-ranked No. 24 Kansas. The senior forward’s two goals gives her six for the season, marking a career single-season high.
Mayi Kith received Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season, after helping push the Mountaineers to its fourth consecutive shutout and only allowing one shot on-goal against two ranked opponents.
McFarland scored the match-tying goal against Baylor to send the game into overtime, earning her Freshman of the Week. The forward has registered two shots on goal this season and has scored on both.
This is the first career award for Zoller, the second career award for McFarland and the fourth career Defensive Player of the Week award for Mayi Kith.
