Katie McClure (Kansas), Easther Mayi Kith (West Virginia) and Mackenzie McFarland (Texas) earned Big 12 weekly honors for week three.
McClure was awarded Offensive Player of the Week, for the second time this season, after scoring both goals in KU’s overtime win over Utah, including the golden goal in the seventh minute of the second overtime period. The junior forward leads the Big 12 in points with 13 (five goals, three assists). Mayi Kith earned Defensive Player of the Week, after anchoring the Mountaineer defense to hold Xavier to two shots and a denied shot on-goal in the 3-0 win. McFarland was named Freshman of the Week, following her match-winning goal against Long Beach State on her very first career shot.
This is the first career award for McFarland, the third career award for McClure, and the third career Defensive Player of the Week award for Mayi Kith.
