Baylor Tabbed as Preseason Favorite in Big 12 Poll
For the ninth time in Conference history, Baylor has been selected as the preseason favorite to win the Big 12 women’s basketball regular-season title in 2019-20, in a vote by the league’s head coaches.
The Lady Bears were also picked at the top of the preseason rankings in 2006, 2009-13, 2016-17 and 2018-19. They have won or tied for 10 regular-season crowns, including the last nine, as well as capturing the 2019 Big 12 regular-season and postseason titles.

Iowa State and K-State rounded out the top five. Oklahoma State was picked sixth, while Oklahoma was seventh and TCU was eighth, followed by Texas Tech and Kansas.
