Morgan Christon (Kansas), Loren Hinkle (K-State) and Micaya White (Texas) have been named the Big 12 Volleyball Players of the Week for the final week of the regular season.

White earned her third Offensive Player of the Week honor of the year after helping Texas to a 3-1 victory at Iowa State in its lone match of the week. The senior put together a hefty double-double, throwing down 18 kills and scooping up 19 digs, while also adding three blocks and a pair of aces for 5.4 points per set.

Hinkle garnered her first career Defensive Player of the Week as she set a career-best in digs (23) in a sweep at Texas Tech to close the season. The freshman’s 23 digs marked a league-high in a three-set match this season, while her 7.4 digs led the Conference by almost 3.0 dps. Her efforts limited the Red Raiders to a .067 hitting efficiency, a season low by a K-State opponent this season.

Christon became the first Jayhawk to earn a Rookie of the Week award this season. She earned a career-high 19 kills in five-set victory over Iowa State and then matched that mark in a loss at West Virginia. Christon ranked sixth in the Big 12 in kills per set (3.8) and in points per set (4.1), while also collecting her first career double-double with 19 kills and a career-high 13 digs in the loss to the Mountaineers.
