The final Big 12 Wrestling weekly award honoree was announced as two-time Big 12 individual champion Nick Piccininni (Oklahoma State) earned his first award on the season, unanimously. This week’s award marks the third all-time for the 125-pound wrestler and the second this season for the Cowboys.
Piccininni took down the No. 2 ranked Spencer Lee of Iowa by way of fall (4:55) to complete a perfect 27-0 season with six wins over ranked opponents. The win helped push the No. 2 Cowboys to a 27-12 victory over the No. 3 Hawkeyes.
