Women's Tennis Reveals Fall Schedule

Joe Castiglione announced the Sooners' 2019 fall tournament schedule on Wednesday.
"We're excited to get back on the courts this fall and play a competitive schedule," said head coach
Audra Cohen, who is entering her fourth year at the helm for OU.
"We have several players who will play their first fall slate. Our goal is for each player to individually achieve a higher level of tennis to prepare them for the spring."
OU will open the fall slate Sept. 9 at the ITF Lawrence 15k tournament in Lawrence, Kan. The Sooners will split up the weekend of Sept. 20 with one group headed to the Milwaukee Tennis Classic hosted by Marquette University and another representing OU at the UVA Invite in Charlottesville, Va.
Oleksandra Korashvili will play in the Oracle/ITA Masters on Sept. 26 in Malibu, Calif.
OU returns to the Sooner State on Oct. 5 for the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa before hosting the ITA Central Region Championships Oct. 17-22 at the Headington Family Tennis Center.
Qualifying Sooners will play in the Oracle/ITA National Fall Championships Nov. 6-10 in Newport Beach, Calif.
OU will close out the year at the LSU Fall Invite in Baton Rouge, La., Nov. 8-10.
OU returns eight players from last season in seniors Korashvili and Jasmine Asghar; juniors Martina Capurro, Nina Jabrzemski, Skyler Miller and Camila Romero; and sophomores Ivana Corley and Kianah Motosono. Joining the Sooners for 2019 is freshman Marcelina Podlinska, who comes to Norman from Olsztyn, Poland. Additionally, Oklahoma welcomes Parker Ross as volunteer assistant coach.
