OSU, TCU Collect Week 14 Awards

A trio from Oklahoma State and a student-athlete from TCU collected the final weekly awards of the 2020 Big 12 football season.

Oklahoma State’s Dillon Stoner earned Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week, while TCU’s C.J. Ceasar II picked up Defensive Player of the Week. OSU’s Jake McClure earned Special Teams Player of the Week, as Cowboy Dominic Richardson picked up Newcomer of the Week.

Stoner registered the highest single-game receiving yardage total for an autonomy conference player this season with 247 yards and three touchdowns on eight catches in the win over Baylor. It also marked the third-highest single-game receiving total in OSU history. Stoner's three receiving touchdowns are a career high and matched the highest total for any Big 12 player in a game this year. His 75-yard touchdown reception on the second snap of the game marked the second-longest catch of his career.

Ceasar posted three tackles, a pair of pass break-ups and two interceptions while helping TCU's defense limit Louisiana Tech to just 244 yards of total offense. Both of his interceptions led to TCU offensive scores. Ceasar set career-highs in both interceptions and pass break-ups. He is the only TCU player with two interceptions in a game this season.

McClure combined for 10 kicks between kickoffs and punts, with BU's average starting field position at its own 25.1-yard line. His highlight of the day came when he pinned the Bears at their own 15-yard line following a punt with just over a minute remaining in the first half. The play kept the Bears out of scoring distance and preserved a 28-0 lead going into halftime.

Richardson is a true freshman who rushed for 169 yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries (7.3 yards per carry) in OSU's road win to close the regular season. His 169 rushing yards rank as the second-highest total for an Oklahoma State true freshman, trailing only the 206-yard game that Thurman Thomas had against Kansas State in 1984. In the second half, he rushed for 114 yards.

All of this week’s recipients are first-time honorees.
