Sheets Repeats in Final Weekly Wrestling Award

Oklahoma State’s Wyatt Sheets was named the Big 12 Wrestler of the Week in the final honor of the season. He becomes only the second repeat winner of the year, garnering the honor for the first time on February 4.

Sheets topped his fourth ranked opponent of the season in his lone match of the week, taking down 157-pound No. 5 Kaleb Young of No. 1 Iowa. After a second-period reversal, Sheets tacked on a pair of third-period takedowns and an escape to secure the 9-4 upset victory. The win moved the Cowboy to 18-6 on the season with all but one loss coming at the hands of a top-20 opponent.
