Six Big 12 baseball teams were ranked and one other received votes in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) preseason poll, as announced Monday.
 
Texas Tech led the way for the Conference at No. 3, while Oklahoma State checked in at No. 18 and Oklahoma appeared at No. 24. No. 28 TCU, No. 30 Texas and No. 35 West Virginia were also included in the rankings. Additionally, Baylor received votes.
 
The Big 12 baseball season begins on Friday, Feb. 14 with all nine teams in action.
