Sixty-Two Qualify For NCAA Indoor Championship

Sixty-two track and field student-athletes from the Big 12 have qualified for the 2020 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships. Fifty-two unique individuals and four relay teams will represent the Conference in 28 different events at the meet. Six student-athletes will compete in multiple events.

The Big 12 holds the No. 1 seed in three events, as Kansas’ Gleb Dudarev, K-State’s Taishia Pryce and Texas’ Julien Alfred enter with the nation’s best marks in the men’s weight throw, women’s long jump and women’s 60-meter dash, respectively. Additionally, 12 of the league’s participants boast a top-three seed in their respective events.

Nationals will be held at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico on March 13 and 14. ESPN3 will stream the Championship live starting at 6:15 p.m. CT on March 13 and starting at 5 p.m. CT on March 14. A re-air of the Championship will take place starting at 8 p.m. CT on Monday, March 16 on ESPNU.
