Texas’ Miranda Elish was named the 2020 Softball America Player of the Year, while nine Big 12 players earned All-America honors as the organization announced its shortened-season awards.
Elish led the Big 12 and ranked sixth nationally in wins (11), boasting a 1.25 ERA, 11 complete games, four shutouts and 96 strikeouts over 84.0 innings of work, while holding opponents to a mere .158 batting average.
