Oklahoma’s Justin Thomas earned the first Big 12 Wrestler of the Week for the 2020-21 season. This is the first career award for the redshirt senior.
 
Thomas picked up his eighth-career ranked win and first over a top-10 opponent. Ranked No. 16 entering the match, Thomas scored a pair of takedowns to defeat Arizona State All-American and reigning Pac-12 champion Jacori Teemer via a 6-2 decision.
