Big 12 women’s and men’s basketball programs will preview the 2021-22 season at the Basketball Tipoff on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 19-20, in Kansas City’s T-Mobile Center.
 
Head coaches and student-athletes will meet with the media in a variety of interview sessions with women’s programs scheduled for Tuesday while men’s teams appear on Wednesday. ESPNU and Big 12 Now on ESPN+ will provide live coverage each day.
 
Women’s Tipoff television coverage will feature a series of four round table discussions with five participants in each. Coaches will take part in two of the round tables while one student-athlete from each team will comprise the other two. Brenda VanLengen will serve as the moderator with Brooke Weisbrod providing additional coverage and interviews from Noon - 3 p.m. CT.
 
The Men’s Tipoff telecast will air from 8:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. CT Wednesday and feature head coaches’ press conferences as well as interviews with student-athletes by Matt Schick and Fran Fraschilla. Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby will take part in television interviews on both days.
