BU, OSU, TCU and WVU Earn Week 10 Awards

IRVING, Texas — Heading into the final week of regular season play, Oklahoma State's Grace Yochum (offensive) secures her second Big 12 weekly honor of the season while Baylor's Kayley Ables (defensive), West Virginia's Kayza Massey (goalkeeper) and TCU's Camryn Lancaster (freshman) receive weekly merits for the first time this season.

Yochum picks up the Offensive Player of the Week honor after tallying six points in 196 minutes of play last week. The midfielder recorded a goal and two assists in the Cowgirls' 3-2 Bedlam win over Oklahoma and added OSU's lone goal against Texas on Sunday. Yochum is two goals shy of Oklahoma State's program record after moving into third on the career goals list with 33.

Ables led Baylor's "No Goal Patrol" last week in shutouts against Iowa State and West Virginia. In the Bears' 2-0 win over the Cyclones last Thursday, Ables and the backline held ISU to six shots, just one on goal, and two corner kicks. On Sunday, BU's defense allowed 14 shots by the Mountaineers, with only five on goal, and seven corners. The Bears kept WVU from recording a shot between the 10th minute and the 59th. The senior defender was on the pitch for 200 minutes of action for BU.

Massey completed her sixth and seventh shutouts of the season as the Mountaineers played both No. 21 Texas and Baylor to scoreless draws. The junior notched a career-high seven saves against the Longhorns last Thursday, then matched that mark against the Bears on Sunday. West Virginia has nine shutouts on the season, including in the last three matches against Texas, Baylor and Texas Tech.

Lancaster assisted on the opening goal and scored the game-winner in the Frogs' 3-2 victory against K-State last Friday. It's the fourth time this season the Mansfield native has contributed to multiple goals in a game and has been responsible for the last two game-winning goals for TCU. Two of Lancaster's four shots against the Wildcats were on goal.
