Missouri's O'Toole Voted Wrestler of the Week

IRVING, Texas — Missouri's Keegan O'Toole was voted Wrestler of the Week by league coaches following the second week of competition. Returning for his second freshman season due to COVID eligibility, O’Toole picked up where he left off in 2020-21, aiding the No. 3 Tigers to dominant wins against their new conference opponents to open the season.

The 2021 third place All-American took to the mat in a top-10 matchup against NDSU’s No. 6 Luke Weber and cradle pinned him in 4:46 to record his highest-ranked career victory. O'Toole grabbed the win over Northern Colorado’s Nick Knutson in similar fashion, but in less time (4:42), to go up 2-0 against Big 12 wrestlers.

The freshman remains ranked No. 5 in the 165-pound weight-class in InterMat Wrestling Division I Rankings.
