Baylor Earns 11th Consecutive Big 12 Regular-Season Title

Baylor has secured the 2020-21 Big 12 women’s basketball regular season championship with its win over Texas on Monday evening. The title is the 11th consecutive and 12th overall for the Lady Bears. The 11-season title streak is the longest active mark in the country.

Baylor improved its conference record to 15-1 and has a three-game lead in the Big 12 standings with just two games left to play. The Lady Bears are 20-2 overall.

Big 12 teams will conclude the regular season on Monday, March 8 with the bracket for the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship released once all games have ended.

Baylor will enter the Championship as the No. 1 seed and has won 10 postseason titles, including the last two Championships in 2018 and 2019.

Tickets for the 2021 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship in Kansas City are on sale now. Tickets can be purchased at $20 or $10 per seat, depending on location. Seating capacity for the Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship will be reduced in accordance with guidelines from local public health officials including utilizing a Pod Seating structure.  

Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster locations or through the Municipal Auditorium Box Office. The box office hours are Monday - Friday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. CT. All individuals ages two and up must have a ticket.
