Pak’s Last-Minute Winner Sends OU To Semifinals

ROUND ROCK, Texas- Oklahoma’s Jessica Pak scored with nine seconds left, sending the No. 6-seed Sooners into the Sprouts Farmers Market Big 12 Soccer Championship semifinals with a 1-0 win over No. 3-seed Texas Tech Sunday.

Alexis Washington and Hadley Murrell assisted on Pak’s third goal of the season, breaking a scoreless draw and avoiding an impending overtime period. The teams spent the final 30 minutes searching for the winner, as 13 of the 29 shots taken, and all five shots on goal, came in the last half-hour.
