ESPN and FOX Sports have revealed their broadcast plans for the 2024 softball season.

Regular season coverage begins with a showdown between Texas and Oklahoma State in Stillwater Friday, March 29 presented on ESPN2 at 7 p.m. CT.

Oklahoma takes on the Longhorns in Austin on Friday, April 5 on ESPNU at 5:30 p.m. CT, before a prime-time ESPN face-off between the Red River rivals Saturday, April 6 at 7 p.m. CT.

UT will host Baylor Saturday, April 13 at 1:30 p.m. CT in a clash of in-state rivals on ESPN2.

The final weekend of the season sees the Bedlam Series take center stage as the Cowgirls head to Norman to match up with the Sooners. The opening game on Friday, May 3 starts at 6:30 p.m. CT and will air on FS1, while the second game on Saturday, May 4 will start at 4 p.m. CT on ESPNU. Sunday’s series finale has a 4 p.m. CT start time on ESPNU.

National coverage continues with the 2024 Phillips 66 Big 12 Softball Championship. The first quarterfinal will air on ESPNU at 11 a.m. CT Thursday, May 9 while the Championship Final will be featured under the lights on ESPN2 at 6:30 p.m. CT Saturday, May 11.

This year’s Phillips 66 Big 12 Softball Championship returns to Oklahoma City’s USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium at OGE Energy Field, the home of the Women’s College World Series, from May 8-11. All 10 league teams will compete in the single-elimination format with the top six finishing regular season teams receiving a first-round bye.

All four teams featured for national selections start the season in the USA Today/NFCA Preseason Poll with Oklahoma at No. 1, Texas at No. 8, Oklahoma State at No. 9 and Baylor at No. 22. The Big 12 is the only conference with three schools in the top nine of the rankings.

Big 12 Now on ESPN+ broadcasts will be announced by each school along with Longhorn Network and SoonerVision on ESPN+ telecasts.
