TCU Titled 2024 Big 12 Soccer Regular Season Champions

TCU claimed the 2024 Big 12 soccer regular season title following a 2-0 victory over Oklahoma State. It is the program’s third conference title, also capturing the crown during the 2020 and 2021 seasons.

The Horned Frogs clinched the No. 1 seed of the 2024 Sprouts Farmers Market Big 12 Soccer Championship, finishing league play with a record of 9-0-2, 29 points and averaging 2.64 points per match. TCU earned a first-round bye and will face the winner of No. 8 Utah and No. 9 Colorado on Saturday, Nov. 2.

Twelve teams qualified for the 2024 Sprouts Farmers Market Big 12 Soccer Championship, hosted at CPKC Stadium in Kansas City, Mo. Eleven matches will be played between Oct. 30, Nov. 2, Nov. 6 and Nov. 9.

Texas Tech secured the No. 2 seed after registering an 8-1-2 record, averaging 2.45 points with 27 points in 11 Big 12 matches. The Red Raiders, who also earned a bye, will play the winner of No. 7 Arizona and No. 10 Baylor on Nov. 2.

No. 3 seed West Virginia and No. 4 seed BYU earned the event’s final two byes. The Mountaineers procured an 8-2-1 record during league play averaging 2.27 points while BYU claimed a 2-1 win over TTU in the season finale, finishing conference play with a 6-3-2 record with an average of 1.91 points per game.

Wednesday’s matches will start at 12:30 p.m. ET/11:30 a.m. CT with No. 5 seed Oklahoma State facing No. 12 seed Cincinnati before No. 8 seed Utah plays No. 9 seed Colorado. The evening matches will be No. 7 Arizona vs. No. 10 Baylor and No. 6 Kansas vs. No. 11 Arizona State.

Seeding was determined based on points per match due to the no contest between UCF and Iowa State on Sept. 19.
