BYU’s Hunter Kitchen (men’s) and WVU’s Mary Delaney (women’s) were tabbed as the Big 12 Runners of the Week.

Kitchen picked up his first individual win at the Steven Reeder Memorial Invitational men’s 7K, posting a time of 21:11. The redshirt sophomores led the No. 6 Cougars to their second meet title of the season. It is the first time Kitchen has received Conference accolades.

Delaney finished the Carnegie Mellon Invitational in fourth place, clocking a personal-best of 17:22.30 in the 5K. This is the first time the Frostburg, Maryland native has earned Big 12 Runner of the Week. This is the second consecutive week the Mountaineers have picked up Big 12 Runner of the Week honors.
