Arizona State’s Colby Neal, Kansas State’s Shaylee Myers and Arizona’s Jordan Wilson were selected in the 2025 Major League Volleyball Draft on Monday to give the Big 12 three selections through the first three rounds.
Neal was the first Big 12 player taken, selected by the defending champions, the Orlando Valkyries, in the second round with the 13
th pick. The Sun Devil leads the Big 12 in blocks per set and sits No. 6 nationally with a 1.56 average.
Myers became the second Wildcat in program history to be drafted as the Atlanta Vibe took the outside hitter with the 16
th overall pick. The Lincoln, Nebraska native sits within the top 15 nationally of kills per set (No. 9), points per set (No. 11) and attacks per set (No. 5). She joins former Wildcat teammate Sydney Bolding on the Vibe.
Wilson rounded out the Conference’s selections in the third round as the Grand Rapids Rise drafted her with the 18
th pick. For 2025, Wilson ranks amongst the top five in the Big 12 in kills per set, total kills, points per set and points. She will finish her career in Tucson with over 1,100 kills as a Wildcat and a member of the 2024 All-Big 12 First Team.
The 2026 MLV season will begin January 8 with two matches as the Columbus Fury face the Atlanta Vibe, while the San Diego Mojo take on the Omaha Supernovas. The MLV, formally known as the Pro Volleyball Federation, will be entering its third season of competition.
