Arizona State’s Ilya Kharun (swimmer), BYU’s Martí Llop (diver), and Arizona State’s Remi Fabiani (newcomer) were tabbed as the winners of the Big 12 Men’s Swimming and Diving weekly awards. On the women’s side, Arizona State’s duo of Julia Ullmann (swimmer) and Gerda Szilagyi (co-newcomer) were joined by Houston’s Michelle McLeod (diver) and TCU’s Avery Dillon (co-newcomer) to round out the weekly honors for competition ending Nov. 23.
Kharun led the Sun Devils to wins over No. 9 Tennessee and No. 12 Virginia, setting school records in the 100 butterfly (43.38) and 200 butterfly (1:37.56). The junior also contributed to first-place finishes in the 200 free relay, 200 medley relay, and 400 free relay, and was named the CSCAA Swimmer of the Meet. His 50 butterfly split of 18.68 in the 200 medley relay set a new program mark. This is Kharun’s third Big 12 weekly honor this season and ninth of his career.
In the USC Invitational, Llop placed third in the 3-meter finals (379.70), fourth in the 1-meter finals (316.95), and eighth on platform (280.40). His score in the 3-meter event marked a personal best while recording a 16.6 degree of difficulty. This marks Llop’s second Conference weekly recognition of the season.
Fabiani helped Arizona State to a victory at the CSCAA Dual Meet Challenge, posting three personal bests. The graduate won the 100 free (41.10) and 200 free (1:31.23) against No. 9 Tennessee, while contributing an 18.79 split in the 200 free relay. It is the third time this season that Fabiani has been named Big 12 Men’s Newcomer of the Week.

The sophomore also contributed strong relay legs in the 200 medley (23.20 butterfly split) and 400 free (49.08 split), helping Arizona State to wins in both events. This is Ullman’s second Big 12 weekly award this season and fifth of her career.
McLeod finished on the podium in all three events at the Nevada Invitational, winning the platform event (294.20), placing second in the 1-meter dive (285.85) and finishing third in the 3-meter event (307.95). The three scores helped the Cougars win the Phil Hansel Invitational and secure McLeod’s third Big 12 weekly award of the 2025 season and fourth of her career.
Dillon was TCU’s top performer at the Mizzou Invite, earning second place in the 200 free (1:47.24) and 500 free (4:44.57) and contributed to the 800 free relay (1:47.72 split) that finished third overall. Her time of 4:44.57 in the 500 free broke the school record, while her split in the 800 free relay marked the second-fastest time in school history.
