The Big 12 Conference has announced the 2026 gymnastics preseason team ahead of the upcoming season, which marks the league’s second regular season conference slate.
 
All seven programs earned recognition among the five teams that feature six individuals in each discipline and in the all-around category. The preseason teams were voted on by Big 12 head coaches and were prohibited from voting for their own gymnasts.
 
Arizona, Arizona State, BYU, Iowa State, Utah, West Virginia and affiliate member Denver will compete in six head-to-head duals throughout the Conference schedule, where the team(s) with the best winning percentage capturing the regular season title. The Big 12 season begins Friday, Jan. 23, with the Cougars traveling to Tempe at 7 p.m. MT.
 
The Red Rocks claimed the Big 12 regular-season and Championship titles during its inaugural season in the Big 12.
