Fourteen Big 12 Volleyball Players Earn 2025 AVCA All-American Recognition

Fourteen Big 12 players received All-America recognition from the American Volleyball Coaches Association for the 2025 season. The 14 selections mark the most All-Americans for the Conference since 2017 and are tied for the second-most in Conference history. The Big 12 has recorded 269 All-Americans since beginning play in 1996.

Arizona State’s Noemie Glover became the fourth Sun Devil in school history to earn first-team recognition after being named the league’s Player of the Year. Glover led ASU in kills and reached double-digit kills in every match she played but one. The junior helped Arizona State finish the season with the most blocks, the highest hitting percentage and the lowest opponent hitting percentage among all Big 12 programs.

The Big 12 had two members selected to the second team with BYU’s Suli Davis and Iowa State’s Rachel Van Gorp and two more named to the third team in Colorado’s Ana Burilovic and TCU’s Evan Hendrix.

Davis led BYU to the second-most kills and the second-highest hitting percentage in the Big 12. The freshman from Euless, Texas finished with the second-highest kills (4.93) and points per set (5.38) in league matches. She also recorded the most kills in a 4-set match (28) and tied for the most in a 3-set match (19) in league play.

Van Gorp picked up second team honors to become the first underclassman in Cyclone history to be on First or Second Team All-America. She is the only libero in the nation among 2025 All-Americans to be placed on first or second team and is one of five underclassmen nationally selected for second team or higher. Van Gorp helped Iowa State record the most digs per set in the Big 12 for the season as she put together a streak of 35 matches with double-figure digs.

Burilovic led the Big 12 in points per set with 5.47, good for sixth in the NCAA, and in kills per set with 4.71, good for ninth in the country. She recorded 13 matches with 20 or more kills this season, the most in Colorado history, and became the 19th Buff to surpass 1,000 career kills.

Hendrix became the second player in TCU history to be named to one of the first three teams. Of TCU’s 32 contests, Hendrix recorded double-digit kills in 29 matches, including 11 with 20 or more.  In conference play specifically, she led the Big 12 with 4.96 kills per set through the 18-match slate.

Nine Conference student-athletes earned Honorable Mention honors including Arizona’s Jordan Wilson, Arizona State’s Bailey Miller and Colby Neal, BYU’s Brielle Kemavor, UCF’s Avah Armour, Kansas’ Reese Ptacek and Jovana Zelenovic, Kansas State’s Shaylee Myers and Utah’s Kamryn Gibadlo.
