Ezekiel won the 400 meters at TTU’s Jarvis Scott Open with a time of 44.92 seconds. He finished the weekend running in the men’s 4x400 running his leg at 44.37 seconds. This is the senior’s first Big 12 honor.
Snow competed in the 60-meter and the 60-meter hurdles as TTU hosted the Jarvis Scott Invite. He ran the hurdles in 7.48 seconds in a heat that featured professionals. His time broke a TTU program record, tied for first in the NCAA this season and ranks No. 5 in the NCAA records. The sophomore then won the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.53 seconds to tie the nation’s sixth-fastest time in the event this year.
Chamberlain helped BYU’s distance medley relay team secure a first-place finish at the Husky Classic. The junior ran the anchor leg as the DMR defending national champions ran the event in 10:37.58 to claim the best time in the NCAA as the meet’s top five DMR finishers set this season’s best marks. She then ran the 3,000-meter finishing second closely behind a teammate at 8:40.89 to claim the second-fastest time in the NCAA this season. This is her second Big 12 weekly award in three weeks.
Dove set a personal record with a throw of 19.46 meters (63-10.25) in the shot put at the Howie Ryan Invitational. It was the third time this season that the graduate student had broken her school record, and it marked her fourth consecutive win in the event this season. Her throw last weekend landed her atop this season’s NCAA performance list while placing third in the NCAA record book. Dove claims Houston's first indoor weekly award during its second season in the Conference.
