Big 12 Conference Sends 71 Wrestlers to NCAA Championships in Philadelphia

IRVING, Texas – The Big 12 Conference will be represented by 71 student-athletes from 13 of its programs at the 2025 NCAA Wrestling Championships in Philadelphia as official brackets were released on Wednesday. The Conference received 13 at-large selections in nine different weight classes before Wednesday’s NCAA Wrestling Championships Selection Show to push its total to 71.

Four Big 12 wrestlers earned top two seeds in their weight classes, including No. 1 Keegan O’Toole from Missouri at 174 pounds. The Big 12’s two seeds are West Virginia’s Peyton Hall at 165 pounds, Parker Keckeisen from Northern Iowa in the 184-pound division and heavyweight Wyatt Hendrickson from Oklahoma State.

Preliminaries begin on Thursday, March 20 from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia with the championship rounds slated for Saturday, March 22. ESPN will broadcast all three days of action on its family of networks with championship session designated for ESPN.
