Arizona and Baylor Garner Final Big 12 OTF Weekly Honors

Arizona’s Zach Extine (men’s) and Baylor’s Tiriah Kelley (women’s) claimed the final Big 12 Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week awards of the 2025 season.

Extine won the men’s 110-meter hurdles at the Desert Heat Classic with a time of 13.17 seconds. His mark set the program’s all-conditions record and was a personal record, while the mark ranks first in the league and No. 2 in the NCAA this year.  The Chandler, Arizona native finished his weekend with a personal-best time of 21.38 in the 200 meters. Extine is the first Arizona Wildcat to earn a Big 12 accolade this season.

Kelley broke the BU outdoor record in the women’s 200 meters after she posted a mark of 22.34 at the Alumni Muster last week. She now claims the program’s indoor and outdoor fastest times in the 200 meters, claiming the indoor season’s leading mark in January. This is her second career Big 12 weekly award after earning an honor during the indoor season.
