Big 12 Announces Leadership Promotions As League Enters New Era Of College Athletics

Irving, Texas – The Big 12 Conference today announced key promotions designed to best serve its member institutions as the league enters a new era of college athletics.
 
Tyrel Kirkham has been promoted to Chief Brand and Business Officer. In this role, he will oversee the Marketing, Branding, Media, Communications, Licensing, and Commercial Revenue business verticals. Additionally, going forward, these groups will operate collectively as Big 12 Enterprises. The creation of Big 12 Enterprises consolidates the league’s business verticals under one umbrella to best serve the evolving landscape of college athletics. Kirkham joined the Big 12 in 2022.
 
Jessica Presnall has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel. She will oversee Legal Affairs, Compliance & Governance, Student-Athlete Success & Impact, Human Resources, and Administration. Presnall joined the Big 12 in 2015.
 
Presnall, Kirkham, Chief Competition Officer Scott Draper, and the CFO make up the conference’s executive team.
