Baylor’s Haywood and Texas Tech’s Snow Collect Big 12 Track and Field Athletes of the Week

Baylor’s Molly Haywood (women’s) and Texas Tech’s Malachi Snow (men’s) are tabbed as the Big 12 Indoor Track and Field athletes of the week.

Haywood won the pole vault title at the Ted Nelson Invitational with a vault of 4.57 meters (15 feet). The junior has now recorded three 15-foot vaults during her indoor track and field career. Her most recent mark is the current NCAA season leader. This is Haywood’s first Big 12 accolade.

On the men’s side, Snow won the 60-meter hurdles at the Stan Scott Invite, where he clocked a time of 7.55 seconds. The junior’s mark ranks him second in the league and tied at No. 2 in the NCAA this season. This is the second Conference weekly award of his career.
