BYU won its first Big 12 soccer regular season title after finishing the 2026 league slate with an 8-1-2 record and 26 points. This is the program’s first regular-season crown and second overall Big 12 title after winning last season’s Conference Tournament as the No. 8 seed.

After an 11-game Big 12 slate, the Cougars prevailed with a 1-0 victory over Arizona State to win the title outright. Heading into Thursday’s final regular season game, four Big 12 teams were in the running to win the regular season crown.

The Cougars (12-3-3) claim the No. 1 seed at next week’s 2026 Big 12 Soccer Tournament presented by Allstate, held at Texas Health Mansfield Stadium in Mansfield, Texas, Nov. 9-14. BYU will return to action facing No. 8 West Virginia (9-4-4, 4-4-3 Big 12) on Monday, Nov. 9 at 3 p.m. ET/1 p.m. MT.
