Records Set as KU’s Davis and TCU’s Miles Collect Weekly Big 12 WBB Accolades

TCU’s Olivia Miles (player) and Kansas’ Jaliya Davis (freshman) obtained Big 12 women’s basketball weekly awards for the 15th week of the 2025-26 season. Davis is the first player in league history to win Freshman of the Week seven consecutive times.

Arizona State's McKinna Brackens, Baylor’s Taliah Scott and Colorado’s Anaëlle Dutat join the duo on the Big 12 Starting Five, which highlights strong performances from around the league.

Miles led the Horned Frogs to back-to-back top-20 wins at then-No. 12 Baylor and against No. 19 West Virginia. Miles scored 40 points, including a 10-of-20 mark from downtown, in TCU’s 83-67 rivalry victory over Baylor. Her 40 points were the most in a game by any DI player this season against a ranked team. Miles is the first player in NCAA history to make 10 threes against a top-25 team on the road and is one of just two players ever to connect at least 10 times from distance against a ranked team in any game. The Wooden Award Late Midseason Top 20 Watch List member followed with a game-high seven assists against West Virginia while adding 12 points and seven rebounds in a 59-50 TCU win, the Horned Frogs' NCAA-leading 40th consecutive home victory. The graduate guard averaged 26.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game throughout the week. This is Miles’ second consecutive and fourth overall Big 12 Player of the Week title this season.

Davis averaged 19.5 points and 4.5 rebounds for the Jayhawks during the week. The star freshman has scored double figures in each game she’s played this season and recorded her 12th 20-point game of the season with 25 points against Houston. Davis ranks second in Big 12 play this season, and first nationally among freshmen in conference games, with 22.4 points per game.

Brackens led Arizona State to two wins during the week, including leading the Sun Devils in scoring with 24 points in a rivalry overtime victory against Arizona. Brackens scored 19 of her points either in the second half or overtime, which included hitting the game-tying shot with 3.3 seconds left in the second half. Dutat averaged a double-double for the week with 15.5 points per game and 11.5 rebounds per game as the Buffaloes beat BYU and Houston. Scott averaged 24.0 points on the week and scored on her 1,000th career point, becoming the 22nd player since 2000 to reach the mark in 48 games or less.
