Colorado claimed two weekly awards for the second week of the 2026 Big 12 Lacrosse season, as Jess Peluso (defender) and Elena Oh (goalkeeper) garnered honors. Arizona State’s Gabriella Henry (freshman), Cincinnati’s Paige Selhorn (attack), San Diego State’s Keira Doyle-Odenbach (midfielder) and UC Davis’ Annie Cimperman (draw specialist) round out this week’s winners.
Peluso helped the CU defense hold Cornell to just five scores. The now five-time Big 12 Defender of the Week grabbed a season-high four ground balls and forced two turnovers.
Oh made five saves against the Big Red in the 8-5 Colorado victory. Oh enters the week leading the Big 12 in minutes played by goalie and is 16th in the NCAA with her 7.00 GAA. This is her sixth career Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week title.
Henry had 11 saves against Denver, the single-game high in the Conference this season. It marked the first collegiate appearance for the goalkeeper from Milton, Georgia. Henry finished with a .524 save percentage in 48 minutes and stopped six of eight free position shots that went her way.
Selhorn had 13 points during the week with seven assists and six goals. Both her eight points and four assists totaled against Wofford are tied for 10th in program history for a single game. This is her third career weekly Conference award.
Doyle-Odenbach posted five goals throughout the week to capture her second career Big 12 weekly accolade. The sophomore is the second leading scorer for the Aztecs through the first three games of the season (7 goals) and leads the team in draw controls (8).
Cimperman helped UC Davis take down Florida State with 10 draw controls. The senior’s performance in the circle helped the Aggies maintain possession while holding the Seminole offense to six goals throughout the day, with none in the fourth quarter. This is her first career weekly league honor.
